Must have at least 4+ years prior experience at a major law firm, online lender, credit card company, financial institution and/ or a state regulator's office. The candidate will assist the compliance team with requirements arising out of the consumer lending operations in the federal and state regulator's office. Position Details:
Trading Documentation Paralegal/Specialist. Responsibilities include:
• Support, review and implement final execution of transactional agreements and related documents.
• Organize and file relevant legal documentation into legal document management system and record information in proprietary electronic databases
• Assist in all aspects of new fund launches and account trading documentation onboarding and act as liaison with firm-wide onboarding teams
• Organize, and appropriately handle legal documents and sensitive, confidential information, including counterparty requests related to KYC/AML information
• Support other teams across legal, compliance, credit, and trading on special projects as needed
• Assist with account openings at global custodian and administrators, and help set up custodial trading accounts for various developed and emerging markets
• Compensation Range - $60,000 - $125,000 dependent upon experience

What You'll Bring:
• 2-6 years of experience preferred

Our client a regional law firm with offices in NY and NJ is seeking highly organized candidates with excellent communication skills and 3 - 5 years of paralegal experience in insurance litigation, for their Hackensack office. Applicants must be proficient with using Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe, as well as document management software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The paralegal’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with motion prep; e-filing documents in both state federal courts; deposition and trial preparation; use of various electronic document review databases such as Summation, Lextranet, and Concordance; organization and assembly of medical records for the creation of review binders.

Performing redactions, applying Bates-stamps, creation of shared files and hyperlinks.
